The lights burn bright, even in the rain! Roper Mountain Holiday Lights is especially beautiful during the rain, but check the schedule below to see what activities might not be available on rainy nights.

 

Sunday, November 27

USC’s Cocky and Clemson’s Tiger Mascots appearing together after THE game!

Cocky will appear from 6-9 pm. The Clemson Tiger will appear from 6-7:30 pm. Two mascots coming together one night after the big game! Flashbooth 5 pictures will be available at selected times only with these beloved mascots: Tiger Flashbooth 5 pictures will be from 6-6:45 pm, Cocky Flashbooth 5 pictures will be from 7-7:45 pm. If you miss the Flashbooth 5 pictures, don’t worry, you can take pictures with your own camera outside of those times.

 

Monday, November 28

DOG NIGHT/Flashbooth 5 Doggie Costume & Christmas Card Contest.

Dogs are welcome on the mountain! Enter a fun dog costume contest and get your Christmas Card made at the same time! The cost to enter is $8 for two 4” x 6” photo cards and winners receive awesome prizes from dog lovers Bubba Annie’s and other fun prizes! Entry photos will be received between 6-9 pm, but you do not have to be present to win. Special judges will preside over the contest, including Stacie from Magic 98.9 who will also host the event.

 

Tuesday, November 29 - TONIGHT'S CONTEST HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED, CHECK BACK FOR DETAILS, THIS EVENT WILL NOT BE HELD TONIGHT.

Christmas Photo Card Contest Presented by Flat Rock Grille.

Enter a hilarious and fun contest and get your Christmas Photo Card made at the same time! To enter to win, purchase a Flashbooth 5 photo entry between 6 and 9 pm. The Christmas Photo Card Contest will be held on Facebook after all entries have been received. The cost is $8 for two

4” x 6” photo cards (up to 10 people can share one entry, but only one prize is given). Winners will receive gift cards from Flat Rock Grille!

John and Lauren from the Magic 98.9 Morning Show appearance

Come have your photo made with your favorite morning show hosts, John and Lauren, appearing from 7-9 pm. You may bring your own camera if you do not wish to purchase pictures. Awesome Prize from Jenny Craig to give away this night!! 

 

Monday, December 5

DOG NIGHT & Doggie Christmas Cards with Flashbooth 5

Appearance by members of the Greenville Road Warriors Hockey Team and Rowdy the Mascot with

Flashbooth 5 Photos available

Get Rowdy with members of Greenville’s hockey team at Flashbooth 5. Team members and mascot Rowdy will be on hand to visit with guests and have Flashbooth 5 photos taken. The cost for Flashbooth 5 photos is $8 for two 4” x 6” photo cards and up to ten people fit in the booth at one time. You may bring your own camera if you do not wish to purchase Flashbooth 5 pictures.

Bethel Road Elementary School Choir Performs at 6:00 and 6:40 pm

Park your car and walk to Winter Wonderland to listen to carols by children from Greenville County schools and celebrate what the holidays are truly about!

 

L Mann High School Choir Performs at 6:20 and 7:00 pm

Wednesday, December 7

Hawk & Tom From B93.7 appearance Benefiting the Children’s Hospital

Come have your Flashbooth 5 photo made with local celebrities, Hawk and Tom from 7-9 pm! Cost is $8 for two 4” x 6” photo cards and up to ten people fit in the booth at one time. Proceeds this night will benefit the Children’s Hospital of Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center. Prizes and giveaways during the event! You may bring your own camera if you do not wish to purchase Flashbooth 5 pictures. (Flashbooth will not be present if it is raining.)

Tacky Christmas Sweater Contest Presented by Wild Oats Taproom

Put on your tackiest Christmas Sweater and head on over to the Flashbooth 5 Photo Booth to enter to win awesome prizes from the Wild Oats Taproom in Simpsonville! The cost to enter is $8 for two 4” x 6” photo cards (up to 10 people can share one entry, but only one prize is given). The contest will be held on Facebook after all entries have been received. Winners will receive gift cards from Wild Oats Taproom! Complete details are on our website. (Flashbooth will not be present if it is raining.)

TreesGreenville Giveaway at Roper Mountain Holiday Lights

Greenville County residents are invited to pick up a free eastern red seedling to plant in honor of the public tree planting campaign, “TreesGreenville, Plant a Tree. Make It Count” whose mission is to plant 10,000 trees in 10 Years. Free seedlings can be picked up between 6-9 pm. Register your newly planted trees at treesgreenville.org.

 Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland, our walk through feature, is open nightly from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Winter Wonderland is open rain or shine.

 

Santa Claus

Santa Clause will be inside the North Pole Trading Post at Winter Wonderland nightly from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Photos with Santa are available select nights, see schedule below. Santa will be present rain or shine.

 

Be sure to bring your letters to Santa Clause, we have a mail box that delivers directly to Santa's Workshop in the North Pole!

 

Photos with Santa Clause

The photographer will be on site the following nights from 6:00-9:00pm.

We request that no personal photos be taken on nights when the photographer is present.

Balloon Elves

Balloon artists will be making free balloon art for children inside the North Pole Trading Post at Winter Wonderland on select nights from 6:00 - 9:30 pm. Balloon artists will be at the event every night EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING NIGHTS: November 28, November 29, December 5, December 6, December 12, December 13. Balloon artists will be present all other nights. Artists will be present rain or shine.

 

Concession Stand & Marshmallow Roasting

The concession stand will be open in Winter Wonderland nightly from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. Concessions will be available rain or shine.
